6. Go, Tell it On the Mountain 🏔️

It’s easy to romanticize art — the palette, the brushstrokes, the gallery walls.
But the truth is: to paint is a privilege.
It’s the privilege of time. The privilege of food on the table, tools within reach, and a space that’s mine.
It’s years of collecting equipment, learning code, testing mediums, planning posts, building a brand, and managing the quiet logistics that hold it all together.
It’s the time to try, fail, and try again.
The disposable income to explore and experiment.
The grace to heal through art when, for most of my life, I didn’t think healing was possible.
Painting, designing, and building The Qujanaq Project isn’t a pastime.
It’s a calling — a life’s work lived out loud.
A prayer made visible.
It’s where I meet the Creator halfway —
on the mountain, in the making,
between the work of my hands and the breath that moves through them.
So the next time you tell yourself that painting or creating is simple.
Remember, it’s never just paint and paper — it’s all the unseen things that give it meaning.
Art is how we keep beauty alive.
So when you can, share it, celebrate it, support it — you never know, it might make your world a lil brighter. ✨
Planet. People. Purpose. 🫶😁
