Okay, first off, let’s take a moment to celebrate the Fall 2025 launch at The Qujanaq Project (TQP).
It has been an outpouring of support, and honestly?
I couldn’t have imagined a better launch for what I keep calling a “mini” project.
But… what exactly is mini about it?
Because every time I say “micro-business” or “offshoot,” I’m reminded of everything it actually takes to run one tiny Shopify storefront:
- Painting, photographing, scanning, colour correcting, test printing, and proofing
- Running my fine-art printer like a small regional airline (delays, turbulence, and miracles)
- Packaging orders by hand like a one-woman postal service
- Managing inventory, restocks, and supply runs that take 3–5 business days (on a good week)
- Customer service, admin, bookkeeping, and answering messages, like I have a whole communications team
- And somehow still having enough creativity left to design, write, paint, and blog
So yeah… “mini.” Not so much 😅
And that’s why we’ve put the snail mail subscription on hold for now, and why our limited Fall 2025 prints are officially sold out.
But don’t worry — I’m still here.
And I’ll keep posting on the blog about everything: business, Nunabox behind-the-scenes, life, grief, joy, art, and all the tiny things that make this human experience. 🐻
