30. One Shot 🎯

30. One Shot 🎯

Did you know you don't have to wait until you're 70 to decide that you've had enough of dreading Mondays?Β

That's the thing nobody tells you about the slow, safe, sensible path.

It doesn't feel dangerous. It just feels like time passing πŸ™ƒ

You tell yourself next year, once things settle, once there's more money, once the kids are older, once the "right" moment is there, and then a decade's gone and you're still waiting for the moment that was never going to announce itself.

Since I spent the better part of nine months circling every other door except the one that was actually mine. I know what it feels like to keep choosing the version of your life that looks responsible on paper.

Here's what I actually believe now: you get one shot at this.

Not one shot at getting it perfect- one shot, period.

The version of you sitting at a job you hate, telling yourself it's temporary.

You don't need a nine-month unravelling to give yourself permission πŸ’‘Β

You don't need to lose the safe option first. You can just decide, today, that dread isn't a reasonable way to spend forty more years, and start walking toward whatever the other thing is, even badly, even slowly, even before you know what it's going to become.Β

As scary as that sounds, I didn't quite know what TQP would be when I first started.

Most of the time, I still don't fully know.

All I know is that I just can’t do one more year of the other thing.

If you're waiting for a sign, this is it. Go find your one shot πŸ˜‰
