26. Play, Create & Make Beautiful Things 🤌

Yo sometimes we are so wrapped up in the daily grind that I don’t actually think we make enough time as humans to play, create, and make beautiful things.

It almost sounds so out of reach that it becomes something of an aspiration, “oh look at her with all that time to make stuff”. That’s kinda sad when you boil it down to how the collective is hardwired to view the world through a lens of lack.

Bro there is more than enough pie to go around, there is more than enough stuff, and money, and likes, and attention to go around.

One person putting themselves out there shouldn’t warrant people freaking out whether their cut of the pie has diminished or not.

Jeez, get off your butt Jessica, go get you some of that pie instead of thinking there’s less to go around! Bahahaha jkjk

Maybe we're just hardwired for it. Our brains spent thousands of years assuming resources were scarce because sometimes they actually were, but somewhere along the way that wiring stopped knowing the difference between an actual famine and someone else posting a win on Instagram.

So yeah, the wiring's outdated. You are not a caveman guarding the last berry bush, you're a person with a whole life to make something out of.

Go play. Go create. Go make your beautiful, unnecessary thing. There's more than enough pie.
