Qujanaq (Qu-ya-nak) is a Greenlandic expression of gratitude; it translates directly to "Thank you!"
Our Story
The Qujanaq Project by Nunabox Media Inc.
From Living Out of a Suitcase to Curating a Sanctuary.
For seven years, I lived the definition of chaotic logistics. As founder of Nunabox Media Inc. (NBX), I managed high-impact community economic development projects across Inuit Nunangat. I hopped on flights across the High Arctic, collaborated with the Canadian Space Agency to ship STEM kits to remote schools, and worked alongside York University researchers on life-saving youth initiatives.
I was doing good work, but I was also constantly running on empty, living out of a suitcase, and trying to survive the frantic pace of modern life.
In true elder-millennial fashion, I hit a wall. I realized that intentional living shouldn't be a luxury you only find when you have hours to spare. We need it most when we are completely overwhelmed.
Why This Shop Exists (The "I Gotchu" Philosophy)
The Qujanaq Project was born because I wanted to build an online space with total integrity, honesty, and a commitment to play, create, and make beautiful things. But let's be real for a second. You know that exact feeling when you just finished a gruelling shift, and you're running late to a birthday party? You sprint into a grocery store for a card and some flowers, then dash to a liquor store so you don't show up empty-handed?
I built TQP to be your elevated alternative.
You shouldn't have to open 23 different tabs to shop mindfully. I hand-select every independent brand on this site myself. Whether you need a stunning, hand-painted fine art greeting card printed in-studio, premium non-toxic slime for a 5-year-oldβs birthday party, or a crisp, zero-hangover non-alcoholic craft beer so you can celebrate guilt-freeβI gotchu π
Grounded Roots. Elevated Convenience.
Hailing from the High Arctic, with roots across the North for over a millennium, Iβve always known the items we bring into our spaces carry energy. By choosing plastic-free haircare, clean ingredients, and supporting independent makers, we turn a last-minute chore into an intentional ritual.
TQP is growing, evolving, and being built right out in the open. Stay for the tea, grab a lil' something for the people you love, and let's leave the world a bit better than we found it.
